Brian Robinson - Pioneer Leader

Brian has the vision for broom tree and provides strategic direction and leadership.  He works within statutory mental health community services.  He is married to Sally (25 years…) and has 2 daughters and only one bathroom but does have a garden shed!  Prior to following a call to work in mental health recovery,  Brian worked in the private and public sector as a management and organisational development consultant with a gift for pioneering, change management and people development.

Brian says, “ I want to see the local church doing what it does best; providing caring communities that provide hospitality, pastoral care and hope.  Churches have a distinctive role to play in developing the spiritual component of human growth and well- being that mental health services are not equipped to deliver.  Broom tree is already seeing lives transformed in our short life of operating and God is opening up opportunities to enlarge and strengthen the work”.
